Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Project Associate to own, coordinate and drive critical initiatives within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate tasks with our executive team and our software engineers, as well as resourcefulness and agency to “get things done” in an autonomous way in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
This position is based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination. Plan and coordinate project activities, resources, and information. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and presentations. Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Task Execution. Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making. Plan and perform administrative tasks, including reporting, compliance, data management.
- Progress and Risk Monitoring. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project manager. Identify and address potential risks and issues in a timely manner.
- Communication. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication with regards to the projects assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with an excellent academic record in a business or numerate degree (Computing, Maths, Science, Engineering, Business/Finance, etc)
- Experience: Internship or graduate experience in a fast-paced organisation. Experience in the IT or Software Engineering sphere will be valued, but not mandatory.
- IT Skills: Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar) or alternatively proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with enterprise messaging tools (Teams, Slack).
- Technical Skills. Any coding, scripting or automation experience will be beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Proficient in modern technology and using email, slack, google meet, zoom etc.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with the leadership team, staff, and external partners.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise, with a strong ability to think on your feet. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
Working Environment
This role operates in a highly demanding environment where high standards and fast pace are the norms. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working under pressure, and enjoy the challenge of exceeding expectations.
- Work Hours: The role is primarily 10:00-18:00, with flexibility based on business needs.
- Work Location: Office-based with occasional opportunities for remote work.
- Travel: Occasional travel to UK to visit CECG staff and client sites
- Out-of-Hour Assistance: Given the flexible working hours, assistance outside regular hours may be required at times and will be discussed in advance.
